Back To The Future...

Well, it's on nights like tonight that you're really pleased to fire up the laptop and hit the blogosphere.

Scarlett has launched his blog.

Buddy Miles has passed away. RIP Buddy.

And a kid by the name of David Archuleta is going to win this year's American Idol. Last night, he owned John Lennon's "Imagine".

Perhaps the best part is Paula's totally offside and weird comment...

Two things

Today there are two things that are bothering me.

The first is Tyra Banks. Just watched some horrific footage of her over at www.perezhilton.com. She is such a horror show and so awkward on air.

I like how she's positioning herself as the Oprah for younger girls. Please. Does anyone even watch that show and think it's good?

The second is top 40 radio.

I have been at my desk almost the entire day doing either homework or removing a virus from my laptop. I have been listening to The Beat 94.5 (www.thebeat.com). As much as I hate it, I still listen all day and I do like the morning show - but I can't stand Neira.

Anyways, I have heard Chris Brown about 15 times today. I heard that song With You twice in one hour. I also heard that song with Jordan Sparks about 5 times.

I guess they take songs and play them until they die and just move on. No wonder the music business is in shambles. The DJs must not listen to the tunes while they play because I'm sure they are also sick of hearing the same songs every single day.

So I guess I should balance this one out by pointing out some things that are awesome:

  • The new Janet Jackson song "Feedback" is downright banging.

  • The movie "La Vie En Rose" is unreal and I have to say that the main actress in that movie gives one of the most amazing performances I have ever seen.

  • Vancouver weather. This morning I woke up and it was snowing then it was raining and then it was warm and semi-sunny and then it was really windy and now it's just slightly cold.
